Education and Qualification:- Candidates who wish to apply for the position of Operations Technician have first class diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics & Chemistry) with sixty percent (60%) marks in chemistry. For the post of Maintenance Technician-Electrical must have first class diploma in Electrical Engineering or diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. For the post of Lab Analyst must have first class B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) with sixty percent (60%) marks in Chemistry. And, for the post of Jr. Administrative Assistant must have first class in B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. with typewriting lower grade in English.
Relaxed Qualification for SC/ST Candidates: - SC/ST candidates who wish to apply for the position of Operations Technician has pass class diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics & Chemistry). For the post of Maintenance Technician-Electrical must have pass class diploma in Electrical Engineering or pass class diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. For the post of Lab Analyst must have pass class B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry). And, for the post of Jr. Administrative Assistant must have pass class in B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. with typewriting lower grade in English.
Selection Process: - Based on written test and interview applicants will be selected. The Written Test will be conducted at Visakhapatnam. However, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited reserves the right to add any center depending on the response in that area.
