Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur in Sydney Film Festival

Anurag Kashyap's two-part film Gangs of Wasseypur will during the Sydney Film Festival, held from June 6 to 17, compete at international level for the prestigious Sydney Film Prize.
The Sydney Film Prize is awarded in recognition of the most courageous, bold and innovative creations.
"These are the films - selected from the best work of today's filmmakers around the world - provocative, provoking controversy, and broaden our understanding of important things in an innovative way to bring the man," said the official website.
The thriller, starring with Jaideep Ahlawat, Manoj Bajpayee and Raima Sen, tells the story of the coal mines in Dhanbad mafia. During the festival, the film includes the struggle with the Korean animated film The King of Pigs and the Australian film lore.
