Apple today introduced a new generation of MacBook Pro laptops with a new design based on ultra-thin case, and retina display with stunning resolution: 2880 x 1800 pixels.
The new MacBook Pro will be sold alongside the current edition, which received new hardware features, but remained in the old design, dating from 2008. The new handheld will have a thickness of 1.8 inches and will use Intel quad-core processor plus Kepler 650m nVidia GPUs with up to 1GB of dedicated video memory. Hardware features also include 8GB RAM standard and SSD starting at 256GB and can reach up to three times that.
Facilities are particularly impressive as processors and video cards are not ultra-low voltage variants such as those of MacBook Air. Portable optical drive gives up in favor of larger batteries, the capacity specified by the manufacturer at 7:00.
Impressive is, beyond all else, the display, which offers four times more pixels than the previous version of MacBook Pro 15. Resolution is more than double the standard FullHD, being on time without rival portable market. Overall, the design has remained quite similar to the previous edition, only much thinner. Ethernet port is gone, instead of being implemented Thunderbolt ports. For the first time ever Mac platform, Apple will offer two USB 3.0 ports. Available ports include a new first, a standard HDMI port. SD card reader and a new magnetic power port connectivity complete list on new MacBook Pro.
