Samsung launches first desktop with Windows 8

Samsung has launched a new range of desktop all-in-one, the first based on the new Microsoft OS Windows 8 in portfolio. Beyond technical equipment, new computers provide a new control system based on gestures.

Part of our premium Series 7, new desktops will have an all-in-one format and will be available in versions with touch screens of 27 and 23.6 inches. Equipped with third generation Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, a dedicated graphics card AMD Radeon HD WQHD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1440, 7 Series PCs feature advanced motion recognition, and control many 10 fingers-touch and gesture commands.

Five functions for recognizing gestures will be available on new systems that allow control device with a flick of the wrist at a distance of one meter. For example, users must move to the left or right hand to give the electronic pages of a book or palm rotate clockwise, or opposite direction, in order to change the volume during a movie. To select an option from a program must close hand and to stop playing a movie, to shake hands as a sign of "goodbye".

New computers will be available after the official launch of Windows 8 on October 26 at a price not yet been specified.
